People usually seek Counselling or Psychotherapy because they are feeling uncomfortable in their lives. Perhaps you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or low self-worth. Are you short-tempered, easily distracted, weepy, struggling to sleep, or just feeling uneasy and want someone to talk to?
I can empathise and would love to work with you, without judgement or jargon!
Do you feel like an outsider? A misfit? Not part of the family? Perhaps you feel judged by others. Are you covered in Tattoos? Ride a rat bike? Listen to death metal? Lost your Faith? Dating outside your culture? Bullied throughout your childhood? Are you a sex worker? into S&M? Had your child removed by Social Services? Spent time inside? Misused substances?
Rest assured; I don't shock easily.
As a counsellor, my role is to help you explore the things that put these barriers in your life. It is stumbling blocks, such as these that stop you from making the changes that you want to make in life. I can support you to begin the process of healing. To find ways towards a happier more contented life.
Person Centered Psychotherapy is very gentle and non-directive, I will merely come alongside you, sit with you, and offer you a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings supporting you to find a way to therapeutically manage your areas of concern and move forward. There is no right or wrong way for you to be in the counselling sessions. I invite you to come, and be you, as you are, and how you feel at that time. One session may be completely different from the next and that is absolutely fine. I use a variety of methods in therapy and will work with you to tailor therapy to your needs.
Online/Telephone Sessions are £25.00
on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 2pm
