About Me
Hello, I'm Suzanne.
I'm a person-centred counsellor, registered with BACP and accredited with NCPS. I'm also autistic, ADHD and an adult adoptee.
A late AuDHD diagnosis helped me make sense of experiences I'd spent years trying to understand. It didn't change who I was, but it changed how I understood myself.
My own life hasn't always followed a straightforward route. I've experienced loss, complicated family relationships, questions about identity and belonging, and the impact of a restrictive religious environment. Those experiences inform my understanding, but they don't make me an expert on yours. You're the expert on your own life.
My approach
My work is person-centred, trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming. I'm LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink-aware and welcoming of alternative cultures and lifestyles. You won't need to make yourself more socially acceptable for my benefit.

Working with me
I'm warm, curious, straightforward and occasionally irreverent. I take my work seriously, but that doesn't mean every session has to be solemn. You're welcome exactly as you are.
