I’m a counsellor, psychotherapist, and fellow human who’s walked through a fair few storms.
I’m based in Stourbridge, West Midlands, and I come from humble beginnings that shaped who I am: honest, approachable, and down-to-earth. My own life experiences — including trauma, identity exploration, and mental health challenges — have taught me what it’s like to feel unseen, unheard, or out of place in the world.
I’m proudly neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD and Dyspraxic), and I know first-hand what it’s like to navigate life in a world that isn’t always designed with you in mind. I’ve also experienced the stigma that can come with mental health struggles — and that awareness guides how I show up in the therapy room: with empathy, understanding, and without judgment.
My path has included experiences of loss, loneliness, family court battles, grief, infertility, miscarriages, poverty, and the messy beauty of parenting and grandparenting. Alongside that, I’ve found identity and strength in alternative communities — from heavy metal and tattoos to motorbikes and creative expression. I’m kink-aware and kink-friendly, welcoming clients from all walks of life and all forms of self-expression.
It was my own experience of person-centred therapy that inspired me to train as a counsellor. After more than fifteen years working in mental health, my purpose remains the same: to help others feel safe, valued, and empowered — exactly as they are.
In my practice, I aim to offer time, space, and care for you to feel truly seen, heard, and accepted, without pressure or pretence. You won’t be told to “get over it” or fit into someone else’s mould. Together, we’ll work gently toward healing, self-understanding, and the courage to be wholly yourself.
This isn’t textbook therapy. It’s real, human connection — built on honesty, respect, and the shared understanding that healing rarely happens in a straight line.
I understand that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially if you’ve experienced stigma, shame, or judgment in the past. My practice offers a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, feel heard, understood, and supported, and begin the process of healing.
